What kind of personal information ArchiJobs collects and how it is collected
ArchiJobs collects personal information from a variety of sources, including from members of the public, advertisers, prospective employees, mailing lists, recruitment agencies, contractors and business partners.
In general, the personal information ArchiJobs collects includes (but is not limited to) name and contact details.
Personal Information you provide: We store the personal information you enter on ArchiJobs or give to ArchiJobs in other ways. We obtain most personal information through ArchiJobs membership subscription process, placement of advertising and updates to subscription details. You may provide information when you request or acquire a product or service from ArchiJobs or its related companies, provide a product or service to ArchiJobs, complete a survey or questionnaire, enter a competition, or when you communicate with ArchiJobs by e-mail, telephone or in writing (for example if you contact customer service or provide feedback).
Indirect collection: ArchiJobs endeavours to collect personal information about an individual only from that individual. In some circumstances ArchiJobs may obtain personal information from a third party. If you provide personal information about another person to ArchiJobs, ArchiJobs requires that you inform that person you have done so and provide them with a copy of this policy.
How ArchiJobs uses the information you provide
ArchiJobs may use information it collects from you for the primary purpose for which it is collected and for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose of collection. ArchiJobs generally uses personal information to:

In most cases where ArchiJobs asks you to provide information about yourself, if you do not provide ArchiJobs with that information, ArchiJobs will not be able to provide you with the requested product or service.
ArchiJobs may use your personal information for the purposes of direct marketing in relation to promotional activities where it is impractical for us to gain consent. However, in these circumstances, we will provide an express opportunity when we contact you to decline receiving from ArchiJobs specified marketing communications via an opt-out mechanism.

How ArchiJobs treats sensitive information
"Sensitive Information" means information relating to a person's racial or ethnic origin, membership of political bodies, religion, membership of a trade union or professional or trade association, sexual preferences, criminal record and health.
We will not collect from you any sensitive information revealing your race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships or details of health or disability. Exceptions to this include where you have given express consent to ArchiJobs to do so.
Seeking access to the personal information ArchiJobs holds about you
You have the right to seek access the personal information held about you and to advise ArchiJobs of any inaccuracy. There are some exceptions to this right set out in the Privacy Act.
If you make an access request, ArchiJobs will ask you to verify your identity and specify what information you require. ArchiJobs may charge a fee to cover the costs of meeting your request.
Changing personal information
If you wish to change your personal information, which is inaccurate or out-of-date, you must notify us by sending a letter or fax signed by you; and the record will be changed. Your notification should be marked to the attention of our Privacy Officer.
Links to third parties
Other companies that place advertising on our web sites may collect information about you when you view or click on their advertising or content through the use of cookies or web bugs. We cannot control this collection of information. You should contact these advertisers or content providers directly if you have any question about their use of the information they collect.
